Life is difficult for all of us. We all have our troubles. Some have physical, emotional, spiritual or financial problems. Some have a combination of these problems, others, all of them.
Some lives appear luckier than others yet no lives are without pain, loss, and suffering. If one is to find any sense of enlightenment in this life we must resist the temptation to compare ourselves with others, or waste our days away in worry and self-pity.
In matters of self-development one must look inward and avoid the distractions of self-pity and the judgement of others. Forgive others, live morally and get on with life.
