Mass Confusion

Imagine being in a helicopter and looking down at the lives of people that you interact with, the lives of the people in your town, the people of your nation. Imagine looking down, in your own stability, and everywhere you look you see mass confusion. People going through the motions one day and the next they have unintentionally altered their lives and the lives of people around them.
I have taken to looking at life and the people around me in this way and it seems as if people are going through life in a feeding frenzy more than in a joyous pattern and purpose for life. It is exhausting to see the roller coaster of emotions, the constant activity, the search and need by so many people for more, more, more.
The truth of the matter is the “more” that everyone is searching for is within them. Their purpose, their creator and all the love they can hold are the core of their being. Yet the feeding frenzy continues. Take some time in the next month to look around you from a different perspective, observe what it is , and what need, is driving people to live and act the way they do. Then apply it to yourself.
Can you, for one month do without the drama? Without the work? Without the entertainment? Without the approval of others? The stress? Where would you be without all these? Would you feel lost? No sense of identity or meaning? Lonely? Go within and find the reason you do the things you do, what need you have that makes you act. Slow down and be at peace as you replace these needs with love of self, love of man , and love of God. And Be Blessed!~Joy
